Who's the Man behind the site?
The creator of this site (or for you philosopher buffs the Zarathustra, philosopher king extraordinaire and prince of this site) is the one and only Nickhil Singh. Not to worry however... He is not about to exert his will to power over anyone or anything. On the contrary, Nickhil Singh is a mild-mannered student currently attending the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.
Those of you fortunate enough to know this man of the future will appreciate his off-beat sense of humor and propensity for hyperbole. For those of you who do not know Nickhil Singh, well, all I have to say is it's about time! In fact, you may know him, but just not by the very name listed before you. The list of nicknames for Nickhil runs long, so feel free to call him anything (appropriate) that you wish (Some people say I look like a wrestler named Maven...huh? Who is that?). Nickhil is always willing to develop new partnerships and friendships.
The idea for this site stems from Nick's love of philosophy. One fateful day in his early youth, Nick picked up a copy of Plato's Republic and ever since that day he has never stopped reading philosophy. Some of his favorite works include Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Machiavelli's Discourse on Livy
, Sun Tzu's The Art of War
, Aristotle's Ethics and the aforementioned Plato's Republic.
In the past, Nickhil has worked for Wells Fargo Inc., TranCentral Inc, and MindsEye Comics. Along with running Nickhil.com, Nick currently works for the Center for Population Economics in The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and serves as a Resident Master's Assistant for The University of Chicago Max Palevsky Dormitory.
Nickhil also offer his services to companies and magazines as a free lance writer available for any job opportunities. Contact me at nickhil@nickhil.com to inquire about any work samples or job opportunities.
